ABSTRACT The $P\dot{P}$ diagram is a cornerstone of pulsar research. It used in multiple ways for classifying the population, understanding evolutionary tracks, identifying issues our theoretical reach, and more. However, we have been looking at same plot more than five decades. A fresh appraisal may be healthy. Is $P \dot{P}$-diagram most useful or complete way to visualize pulsars know? Here pose look information on population. First, use principal component analysis over magnitudes depending intrinsic pulsar’s timing properties (proxies relevant physical features), analyse whether contained by period derivative enough describe variety Even when variables interest depend P $\dot{P}$, show that \dot{P}$ are not components.
